By Simon MooreI feel the winds of Déjà vu sweeping me off my feet. Tomorrow i am off to see the 'most grotesque film ever made'... again.
Hostel in 2006, Turista the year after and now 'The Human Centipede'.
Important things you should know. The investors in the film did not know the story line or ideas behind the film because the director, Tom Six, was afraid that they would pull out and for good reason, many punters found themselves running from the cinema profusely vomiting.
Things you are going to hate me for telling you. The premise of the film is the construction of a human centipede by linking the mouth of one character to the anus of another in a line. The head eats to sustain the rest of the body... you get the idea. The director also hired consulting physicians to ensure that what was filmed was within the realms of possibility. Delightfully, this fucked up scenario could work (the use of UV drips etc to provide supplementary sustenance)
It gets better, there is a sequel planned, this gem is only the first sequence.
I think it's just fantastic the way people decide to spend their time, don't you?
