9/11 Truth On Tour

The 9/11 Truth sideshow rolled into Australia, trying to publicise the theory that there was a lot more to the September 11 2001 attacks on New York and Washington D.C. than has been publically revealed. KEDAR VISHWANATHAN went along to try and find the facts amidst the fantasy.

Late Thursday my phone rang. Over the line crackled the warm voice of a radical old dissenter who offered me an opportunity to spend the weekend investigating, collating and collecting facts - about the 9/11 Truth Now Tour. I was directed to a brown envelope lodged inside a fuse box with money and a few conspiratorial scribblings. I hurried to the Tattersall Club on Elizabeth Street Sydney for the opening of the first unravelling of truth behind 9/11 conference in Sydney, longing for hard factual truth and impassioned condemnations of the people behind the attacks, the foul odour of thermite explosions in the WTC building 7, Zionist conspiracies and the odiousness of intelligence agencies Mossad and CIA.

911 Truth Oz

The hall was sprinkled with about hundred people with bubbly talk and bonhomie flowing. Mamdouh Habib, an Egyptian born Australian recipient of torture within the white sand terrorist bungalows in Egypt and Guantanamo Bay, was being cordially harassed by sycophants interested in the routines of "torture" (they should know about social terror). No corporate media were present but the truth seekers of Indy media Mathaba and San Fransico based outlet Truth Action were present and recording. Desks were laid out with information about 9/11 - WTC Building 7, Mossad, American Patriots for Truth. Other desks were laced with occult fascinations, the pyramidology and reptilian conspiracy, the bohemian grove, cults of Lucifer, the positive aspects of crop circles and a few bricks of DVDs that would keep the most avid of tattooed paranoid bong ninjas wide-eyed for months.

The keynote address was from Lt. Colonel Bob Bowman, a founding member of the American Patriots for Truth - an ex-Vietnam pilot diagnosed with terminal cancer due to his exposure to Agent Orange, once head of the Star Wars program under the Carter and Reagan administrations and now voice of dissent and truth seeker about 9/11 and the two wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. The Colonel was an impassioned old Republican - a real mandarin - who charismatically called for a redefinition of the terms liberal and conservative which, were lost to the pernicious gospel vernacular of the Bush administration. Bowman placed himself as the embodiment of liberal and conservative America, a truth seeker using civil society as a means to expose and investigate the "treasonous undercurrents of 9/11".

Yet there were no facts: to quote Bowman "the truth about 9/11 is six years after 9/11 we still don't know about who did 9/11", rang louder in my ears than anything else he had to say, underlining my thought that it was merely a keynote emotional polemic by a seasoned public speaker who brandishes in his hand a copy of the U.S. Constitution calling for a collective uprising against the decaying Bush administration - a signal to impeach "his" Bush - for 9/11 being used as a critical event, "a new Pearl Harbour", to galvanise popular western support for the Iraq and Afghanistan wars - Pax Americana. An interesting note came through during questions with the Colonel by one of the less occult in the crowd was that the Taliban offered to hand over Osama Bin Laden to the U.S. Government to be tried if they had evidence linking him with the 9/11 attacks, however, the U.S. Government wasn't interested.

The truth symposium led deeper into the structural foundations of the WTC buildings and affiliations of ownership and insurance to prominent corporate elites. Larry Silverstein, landlord and leaseholder of WTC properties, had covered the WTCs with a US$3.5 billion insurance policy for "terrorist acts" months before 9/11. In 1980 he had also won a bid to lease and develop the last undeveloped lot of land within WTC precinct, building the 47 storey WTC building 7. This is the building, which after burning for a few hours on 9/11 fell to the ground in free fall without moving in any direction, north, south, east or west, it just came tumbling down like the walls of Jericho to the slick heel clicks of five dancing Mossad Agents rollicking over the rhythm of the rubble in the distance.

Sydney University Lecturer Dr Frank Legge - using American Professor Steven E. Jones' evidence - demonstrated that WTC 7 would have had to been taken down using an incendiary like thermite. The film footage shows steel and aluminium burning white hot, which is a physical impossibility as aluminium and steel doesn't burn in air it needs something to provide a catalyst like thermite to allow the steel to burn at temperatures exceeding 1100 degrees C. Traces of thermite were supposedly found in the WTC building 7 dust. Moreover, as another Sydney University architecture lecturer, Dr. David Leifer, noted that the WTCs had a totally unnatural collapse. Sure, there is nothing natural about planes flying into buildings or Afghani children plotting the destruction of Levis or the irony of Target, the company, rebuilding the WTCs, but Leifer implied that the steel columns within both buildings would have had to be previously cut, which accounts for the towers south direction fall. Where in fact it should have fallen in a northerly direction. The speed of fall of the towers would have also required additional energy to the gravitational fall of WTCs 1&2 enabling them to fall in about 10 seconds.

The structural analysis then led to a shift in the presentations to the implication of 9/11 being a false-flag operation. As Canadian dissenter Barrie Zwicker brought to people's attention, it was 441 days after 9/11 that a commission took place, when it was 6 days after the Titanic sunk, 7 days after JFK was shot and 9 days after Pearl Harbour took place that there were commissions into these events. A brief history of false flag ops were uncovered: such as the 1978 Hilton Bombing in Sydney - supposedly an ASIO operation, contrived by the CIA, and backed by CIA linked Governor General of Australia in order to force a resignation by Whitlam.

On 19/9/2005 in Basra, Iraq, British Black Ops dressed as Sunni militia  were stopped by local Iraqi police driving a car filled with explosives and guns. They were sent to prison. The British military then blew up the prison releasing them and several hundred others. Zwicker was demonstrating the very cynicism of the beast showing the perpetuation of violence and fear in order to maintain Empire's hegemony. Using Sunni/Shia battles in mainstream media to inculcate on the mass conscience that it is a necessary war to stop sectarian violence. Pointing to 9/11 as being a terrible "evil contrived from within", the former Italian Prime Minister noted it was a Mossad-Zionist-American conspiracy to blame the Arab world to get the west to invade Iraq and Afghanistan. German and Russian defence Ministers have also agreed it was a false flag op.

Dick Cheney, the stealer of life, on his return from Iraq hails the Iraq invasion a success whilst a woman suicide bomber kills forty people in Iraq. For the past four years the cranes have started to lower concrete slabs and steel pipes over Haditha upon the Iraq-Syrian pipeline, whilst the needle excoriates a line between Iran and Kirkuk and the barrels roll out - the brown and blacks bleed - and the gravel sand stains red, whilst Edwina in Texas picks her kids up in her tinted SUV.

If any truth was found and implied at the 9/11 Truth Now Conference it was that 9/11 justified the participation for war - the new Pearl Harbour - necessary to mobilise America's thirst for black gold throughout the Middle East.

At a recent lecture given by long time subversive artists Gilbert and George, there was a fantastic point made which highlighted the absurdity of institutionalised religion and the anomalous status it's given in today's society.

They said something along the lines of....

"Imagine if a biscuit company was able to sell itself the way the church does. The biscuit company would probably be able to do a lot better if it was able to offer eternal life (in addition to biscuits) as a reward for your money"

Now the idea also works in reverse.

Imagine if there was a company that didn't pay tax, had little or no oversight from the state legal system, was found to be fingering children- had tried to hide it- their leader and the leader's brother were both implicated and they still refused to open themselves up to public scrutiny.

You probably wouldn't buy their biscuits would you.

Re: The Assassins of Langley

Yes, Mr. Neville. Odious, heinous assassins sold body and soul to Luciferian entities who pull the strings (the last of them, I want to believe) from the shadows. Philip Aggeee and John Stockwell portrayed them quite well. They are NOT heroes, nor are the gangbangers of East Los Angeles who spray grafitti in Iraq, where they most certainly train for urban warfare on our streets. Good riddance to them all!

Re: How to Report the News

Having worked as a TV news reporter I found Charlie's piece very amusing - some of us have long believed reporting like this is a rubbish way to do things! But even if a journalist wants to tell stories in a more authentic and engaging way, the constraints of the so-called "house style" in many news organisations make it difficult to achieve. What's needed is a massive culture shift and a complete re-think of what we understand quality broadcast news reporting is. And guess what? That's exactly what's happening, though you'd never believe it from what we're still mostly seeing on TV. Anyway, the new digital technologies, and shake up of "old school/old mainstream" journalism means new platforms and styles of "news" storytelling can now emerge. Let's hope fresh and appropriate ways of funding appear too, so we can kill off this dreadful formulaic reporting and delivery, and clear the way for more natural and interesting ways to treat stories and content.

Much love, Ian Aspin.

Re: Killing Indian Students: Australia's Favourite New Sport!- by Sean Maguire

How about the indian guy who slashed his wife's throat, is still australia to blame for?..may be , for accenpting them to move over!I am an immigrant myself but I love this country, there is no perfect place on Earth but australia is one of the best! - Michael

This entire fiasco is an incredible over reaction. Australia is an easy target. Why? because we are honest, transperant and we talk about our failings. Is there aggression and iolence in Australia? Sure, like any country. But we face it head on and we work to eliminate it. What about the stories of the 100’s of thousands of Indian workers who are treated as slaves in the middle east and nobody says anything? What about the fact that India still has entrenched pedophilia in terms of child brides? What about the crushing poverty embraced by more than 60% of the Indian people while this nation runs around building nuclear warheads? A storm in a teacup, an over reaction, and a diversion from some the really bad issues facing India. What is really happening here is that students are being unnecessarily frightened. meaning they will miss out on what could be the opportunity of their lifetime. - Daryl

I couldn't agree with Sean Maguire's article more on the recent Indian attacks. For all those who like the pretend the attacks are merely based on coincidence, try to imagine how we would react if the boot were on the other foot and an uncharacteristic number of Australia's had been murdered in India. Would you push for a travel ban? Would you be scared for your children in a seemingly hostile environment so many miles away?  - Kara Jensen-Mackinnon
